Description
Osiris — The Remembered King
Medium · Year
Charcoal, pastel & mixed media with AI enhancement · 2013 / 2026
Osiris emerges as a figure of still authority — not resurrected through force, but through remembrance.
The face is weathered, lunar, half-eroded by time, half-lit by inner knowing. The gaze does not command; it endures. This is kingship after death, after story, after performance — a presence that remains when all titles fall away.
Two interpretations are offered here. In one, the serpent crown remains untouched — raw, ancestral, unresolved. In the other, the serpent is awakened, refined, and consciously revealed. Together, they speak to the moment of choice between bearing power unconsciously and embodying it with awareness.

Available Print Versions
Version I — Unawakened Serpent
The snake crown remains as drawn — instinctual, shadowed, and unresolved.
This version carries the weight of the underworld, the dormant king, and the memory held in the bones.
Version II — Awakened Serpent
The snake crown is consciously enhanced — clarified, luminous, and alive.
This version speaks to resurrection through awareness, sovereignty reclaimed, and power held with intention.
Both versions honour the same original work, offering two states of the same mythic truth.
