Am Heh rises from the Egyptian Duat as a threshold guardian — wolf-bodied, flanked by serpents, jaws open to swallow all that is dead, stagnant, or complete.
In mythology, he is feared, but here he stands as an essential force of clearing.
This creature does not destroy blindly — he consumes the excess, the wasted, the unlived, the expired.
He is the power that makes space for the new.

This artwork channels that moment of dissolution:
when identity sheds old skin,
when the past is finally digested,
